The Goolsby and Thomas Family would like to thank you for all the well wishes and condolences. We have been asked what was needed, so we have created the GoFundMe for those who want to contribute or send donations to support our family in this tough time.

As you all know, Ms. Goolsby is an important educational fixture in the Chicago community. As for Ms. Thomas, she is a loving and well-respected member of her church home. Ms. Goolsby leaves behind three children, eight grandchildren, and three great-grandchildren. Ms. Thomas leaves behind one beloved son, five grandchildren, and four great-grandchildren.
