On the evening of December 19th, my uncle Billy, William Gillingham, unexpectedly suffered multiple serious heart attacks and was transported to centenary health center. After multiple days of the ICU team doing their best to keep my uncle stable, heaven gained an angel and he passed away the night of December 23rd with his wife by his side. The picture we’re using for this go fund me was taken two days before, at the Festival of Lights in Vaughn. No one saw anything coming and this loss took a serious toll on our whole family. 

At only 53 years old he left behind his love of 26 years, Aunt Karen and his two young kids Madison and Liam. If you knew my uncle, you know that he was the most gentle and caring family man who put everyone before himself. He had his own business as a painter which he was so proud of, he loved nature, animals, super heroes and he made new friends anywhere he went. His best friend was the family’s new puppy Lily and he treated her as if she was his own child, that’s only a glimpse of how loving he really was. His pride and joy really was his family and he did anything to make them happy.

   Our family has received so much love already and we thought this may be the best way to let my aunt and her family receive the help they need.

  We’re hoping the money raised will cover the cost of the cremation and funeral so the costs won’t be as heavy. He always worked so hard to provide for his family and did everything to make sure they had what they needed, now we want to do the same. Please help us give my uncle and my cousins’ amazing dad the beautiful memorial he deserves. We know it’s a difficult time because of the holidays but even just sharing this link goes such a long way.
