The Garcia-Bock Family and the Easthampton community have unexpectedly lost a mother, wife, friend, teacher, and compassionate citizen this week. Today would have been Paula Garcia's birthday and instead of celebrating with her, we are coming together to honor and cherish our memories of Paula's endless love, empathy, and activism. She lived with her heart open to the world.

In turn we can open our heart to her husband and young children. They need to travel to Spain to mourn Paula with her parents, siblings, and extended family. The family will also experience the burden of funeral expenses and any unforeseen costs as they grieve and adjust to life without their mother.

A link for a meal train will be shared once they return from Spain. For now we can support them in this way. Thank you Easthampton for always coming together and holding one another in our individual time of need.
