Support for the Fulton family
On the night of June 9th, 2021, Brianna Fulton was victim to the tragic accident on the Loop 202 in Phoenix, AZ, when a tanker truck slammed into the car she was in with her best friends and several other vehicles. In total, sadly four people lost their lives and nine others were severely injured. While Brianna was one of the nine to survive, 2.5 months later, she continues to fight for her life. To date she has had more than 6 surgeries, four of them for her brain, one on her intestines, and one on her left arm that was severely injured. While she remains in a coma, Brianna is making small strides towards recovery every day.
She has been able to open her eyes, move her left arm and leg, and is starting to visually track objects. After a month in ICU and a month in a specialty hospital, she has now been transferred to a skilled nursing facility. Due to Covid restrictions, the only way for her family to continue to be at her bedside is for her to have her own room at the new facility, which carries a fee of an additional $100 per day. She has a very long road ahead of her and desperately needs her family by her side to care for her beyond what the nursing facility can do. Brianna’s family is from the Casa Grande, AZ area, but she is being treated in Scottsdale, AZ, which places an additional financial hardship on her family. Your donation and support will allow them to continue to be by her side, and greatly increase her chances of recovery during this long process.
Brianna was very proud that she had just become a Certified Nursing Assistant. She worked two jobs while going to college pursuing her degree to become a Registered Nurse. She worked for the Casa Grande Elementary School District as a Teacher’s Assistant and at Eva’s Fine Mexican Food as a Hostess. She loved both of her job, helping people and is looking forward to starting her career in nursing.
Please consider supporting her family as they fight for the care of their beautiful young daughter and her long road to recovery. Thank you and may God bless you and your family.
