I heard these lyrics this morning, after getting the news yesterday about my brother n law, Paul.

Paul, who has always willingly and courageously entered into so many “storms” (as a deputy and detective), on behalf of all us, has been diagnosed with brain cancer (grade 3 glioblastoma); and is now going to be fighting (no doubt, courageously) his biggest battle yet.

We want Anna and Paul, two of the most generous people I know, to know they aren’t fighting alone. Paul must undergo 6 weeks of intense radiation, followed by 12 months of chemotherapy. Anna will be attempting to balance her work as a daycare provider during this time. Mackenzie begins her freshman year of college in a few weeks, and Grace and Jacob will be starting their Junior and Sophomore years in HS.

I know there are SO many of you who long to ease their burden in some way. Together, we can surround them with the love of Christ.
