Billy was a coach, mentor, teacher, colleague, and friend to so many people in various communities around North Texas. He touched countless lives through his dedication, kindness, and unwavering support for others. His wife, Marcie, is a devoted teacher in Prosper ISD, and together they raised two wonderful children—Taylor, who is currently in college, and Austin, a sophomore at Rock Hill High School in Prosper ISD.

On Tuesday, March 24th, Billy passed away after bravely battling cancer. His journey ended more suddenly than anyone expected, leaving the Farris Family to navigate the many challenges that come with such a profound loss. The family is now facing immediate daily life needs, medical bills, and the uncertainty of the future as they adjust to life without Billy’s presence and support.
