Support for the family of Rob Williams
Donation protected
We were all shocked to hear that Rob Williams died unexpectedly on Thursday, October 7, 2021. Rob leaves behind his wife Lisa and their three children: Olivia (23), Zane (17) and Nate (15). Rob and Lisa just celebrated 24 years of marriage together Sunday, October 3, 2021. He loved his children and was extremely proud of each of them.
Rob worked as an airplane mechanic and an airline inspector. Rob was an organ donor, and, in his death, he was able to give the gift of sight to two people in need. This generous act showcases Rob's wonderful heart of service and love.
He loved the Lord, his family, all types of music, and sports. Rob played the drums in the Praise Band at Lebanon Christian Church and played with other Christian organizations as well. Rob was in a hockey league and a softball league through his workplace. He loved to travel and fly, quote lines from movies, eat peach pie and cobbler, go to hockey games and concerts, and he loved to be home with his family.
Rob loved people and he served regularly at Shalom House, he was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He would listen with love, and he was always there when you needed a laugh and a hug. Rob knew no strangers and made everyone feel loved and important.
Our hope is that the love Rob had for so many others would be shown by the support we can give back to Lisa, Olivia, Zane and Nate, as they work to cover funeral costs and other needs through this loss. Rob's funeral will be held on Wednesday, October 13, 2021, at Lebanon Christian Church, with viewing from 10:00 am -1:30 pm and the funeral service at 2:00 pm. Additional contributions can be made in his name to the Shalom House, P.O. Box 135, Lebanon, Indiana, 46052.
