On Aug. 4, 2022, Leo Lloyd III passed away while mountain biking with his son Ande.  The Lloyd family lost a husband, a father, a son, a brother, and a friend.  Our community lost a tested leader, a first responder, and an expert on technical rescues. Leo was a rare individual who dedicated his life to helping others, was generous, and saved countless lives.  His family will cherish the legacy he left through the ones he loved and the community he loved.

Due to the overwhelming number of messages and calls from friends asking how to support Leo’s wife of 37 years, Susie, and his sons Kendall, Ande, and Kaden, this account has been established to help the family during this tragic and unexpected loss.

Leo's life will be celebrated at the Community Concert Hall at Fort Lewis College on August 30th at 4:00 p.m.
