Support for Roberto Nuanes and Family
Donation protected
Roberto Nuanes is well-known and well-loved in the Denver community. He and his family recently suffered the unexpected loss of his stepson, Kaiden Michael Castaneda. We are hopeful that our community will come together to support Roberto and his family through this extremely difficult time. All funds received will go to Kaiden’s family to cover funeral and memorial costs and any other expenses that may come as they work through this tragic loss. Roberto's family will donate any remaining funds to Big Brothers, Big Sisters in Kaidens name, as he would have wanted.
Kaiden Michael Castaneda was born on November 3, 2004, and has two brothers, Daniel and Jacob Nuanes. Roberto raised him until he was 9 years old, and he remained a part of the Nuanes family, going on vacations to Disneyland, Vegas and most especially, the State Fair. He loved being a big brother to the Nuanes family, always referring to them as his brothers and sisters, taking them sledding every winter, and spending as much time with them as he could. Kaiden loved working on bikes and was quite the mechanic. He enjoyed rock concerts, car shows, spending time at the pool and going to the beach whenever he could. He was a staple at his brother’s birthday parties, almost never missing a single one. Sadly, Kaiden’s life was cut short. The Nuanes, Castaneda and McLaury families will sorely miss him.
