On October 20, our family experienced a tragedy we could never have prepared for. Our beloved husband, father, and friend, Jasen William Burton, tragically and unexpectedly lost his life in a car accident. His passing has left a huge hole in our hearts and in our lives.

Jasen was the kind of person who would do anything for his family. Together with his soulmate and wife Shanya, they built a family with honor, integrity, adventure and a love and devotion to Jesus Christ. Jasen loved spending time with his family, outdoors camping and fishing, traveling to new places, and going to baseball games and concerts. He worked incredibly hard for the life he gave us, earning his position as a Machine Repair Technician and Engineer Intern at John Deere through dedication, long hours, and pride in his work. Providing for his family meant everything to him, and he never stopped striving to give us his best.

Now, as Shanya, Julia, Joven, Josie, Jacqueline, Jessalyn, and Boman try to navigate this heartbreaking loss, we are facing unexpected financial challenges with the loss including funeral expenses, household bills, and the everyday costs of providing for the family.
