Supporting Tamra’s Family After an Unimaginable Loss
One of my very best friends, Tamra, and her family are experiencing an unimaginable heartbreak. Her parents were camping on the Guadalupe River when the recent tragic flooding struck. Tamra and her sister rushed to the Kerrville area in hopes of finding their parents or receiving any news.
This morning, their worst fears were confirmed — both of Tamra’s parents were found and identified, but sadly, they did not survive.
There are no words for the depth of their pain. Their hearts are broken, and their world has changed forever.
In the midst of this grief, I wanted to start a fund to help relieve any financial burdens the family might face — from arranging two memorial services to covering food, travel, and any other unexpected expenses during this incredibly difficult time. The funds will be directly given to Tamra for her family’s use.
Please consider donating or sharing this with others. Every contribution, no matter the size, means so much. And above all, please keep Tamra and her family wrapped in your love and prayers.

Tamra’s Words from This Morning (7/7/2025):
“This morning, our worst fears were confirmed — my parents were found and identified, but tragically, they did not survive.
Our hearts are broken, and our family is devastated by the loss of both of our parents. There are no words for this kind of pain, but we are clinging to one another and to the love and prayers so many of you have sent our way.
Thank you — deeply — for every message, every prayer, and every kind gesture during this unimaginable time.
Our next step is to bring them home so we can lay them to rest with the love and honor they deserve.
Please continue to keep our family in your prayers as we walk through the days ahead.”
