While I only had the opportunity to hang out with Garrett just a few times, every time was a good time. He was great guy and the reaction that those here at The University of Alabama have had to his passing shows that.

While it is presently unclear what exactly happened, one thing most certainly is clear: his family is hurting. His friends and fraternity brothers are hurting. As is The University of Alabama, having lost one of our own.

And while I will continue to offer my thoughts and prayers to both his family and all who knew him, I wanted to also create this GoFundMe to provide resources and support to the Walker Family as they navigate this time of grief. The last thing they should be worried about are any expenses.
