We never thought we would be writing this, but our family is in need of help. Our Mom, Cindy has suffered a stroke and seizure within a week's span of time. The stroke paired with the seizure caused significant damage to our Mom’s brain. She was put on life support. We have sat by her side over the past week with no response from her. Her condition continues to decline neurologically. The doctors have no longer given us hope of any kind of improvement. We are honoring our Mom’s wish to not be kept alive by life support. She was extubated yesterday. The hospital would like to discharge her to a hospice facility closer to home, but it comes with a hefty daily cost on a very fixed income that Medicare doesn’t cover. We are trying to lessen the burden for our family but we need all the help we can get at this moment. We appreciate any and all help we get. If you can’t give anything at all, please just keep us in prayer as we navigate through this difficult time.❤️
