It is with a heavy heart that we share the devastating news of the passing of our dear friend and colleague, Chris Sheehan. Chris’s wonderful wife, Sena, and four beautiful children: Sidney, Hannah, Jett and Bode are in our thoughts right now.  Please keep them in yours. 

Chris was among the most passionate and invested people in the success of learners. Chris didn’t just stand on the sidelines, he led a major effort to advance digital portfolios at ASU with the overarching aim of enabling students to better express their acquired skills and knowledge to prospective employers and beyond. A forward thinker, he authentically understood and catered to the concept of the Universal Learner long before the term was ever put into print.
