Memorial Fund for Cesare Cantu
Donation protected
On October 16, 2020 we lost our dear friend and colleague Cesare Cantu to cancer.
Cesare joined Cisco back in 2000 as a graduate student intern. During his tenure, he was a key member of multiple engineering organizations at Cisco that were responsible for delivering some of the most successful products in the company’s history such as Catalyst 6K switches and Unified Computing System. Cesare loved being an engineer always leading by example, striving for excellence and constantly challenging himself and his peers to search for better solutions to complex engineering problems. He was a mentor to many and a friend to those he encountered, always willing and always going out of his way to lend a helping hand. During the last few years, in spite of his health challenges, he always maintained a positive, upbeat and cheerful outlook.
We at Cisco who knew him and got a chance to work with him, feel fortunate and blessed as he left a lasting impression on all of us. We learned so much from him. Cesare, our dear friend: you will be missed but never forgotten. Riposa in grande pace Sarai sempre nei nostri cuori.
Cesare was equally devoted to his family. He is survived by his wife, Imelda, 19 month old daughter Katharine and 11 year old son Noah.
Nothing can ever prepare a family for a tragedy like this. Cesare was passionate about providing for his kids and their future. In order to best support the family please consider contributing to what Cesare was most passionate about.
Thank you for your support.

I am Margaret Ferreira and I have worked with Cesare for the past few years. The funds donated will go to the well being and care of Cesare's 2 children. His wife Imelda will be added as a beneficiary to receive all funds directly.
