This week our community has suffered a tremendous loss. Beth Gale, whose son Tristan is in 4th grade, passed away suddenly on Tuesday morning due to complications from the flu and pneumonia. To say our hearts are broken for the McNeil family would be an understatement. Many of us had the privilege of volunteering at the Holiday Shop at Tristan's school with Beth just the week before Christmas break - she was always ready to help with whatever we needed. She had such a big heart... she and her husband David just recently opened their home to 2 foster children. David travels for work and work has been slow these past few months, so money has been tight. David is currently unable to travel for work now with the unexpected loss of Beth. David and the kids could use our help now with the unexpected costs  and challenges to come. Tristan is an avid BMX racer and Beth was an instrumental part of his team. His teammates have started a meal train to help David and the kids as well. Here is the link, if you would like to bring them a meal.
