I would like to raise funds for one of my close friends Ryan Hiebert and his son. He is a single Dad who, like any good parent, does everything in his power to ensure his kids are safe and taken care of and is nowc that is faced with an unimaginable tragedy.

They have been left devastated by the loss of their beloved daughter and sister, Alisha Rita Hiebert. On October 7, 2023, at the young age of 16, Alisha took their own life; leaving behind a world of grief for their family.

Ryan is now faced with the heartbreaking task of not only grieving for Alisha but also caring for his 10-year-old son, Alisha's only other sibling. As this is an unimaginably difficult thing to do, we want to offer help during their time of need.

This fundraiser is dedicated to supporting Ryan and his son through any financial challenges that may arise, in the wake of their loss.

The funds raised will be used to help with ongoing living expenses and necessities and to give some time focus on caring for his son during this difficult period.

Alisha was a bright and loving individual whose loss is felt deeply by all who knew her. Nothing can replace her but hopefully we can take away some of the (financial) pressure, giving them the time to navigate this loss, while ensuring that they have the support they need to heal and move forward.
