Support for the family and care of Trish Jones

Patricia Ann Jones our loving Mother and Grandmother was diagnosed with Stage-4 lung and liver cancer Friday April 19th. The news came as quite a shock to Trish and her children. We wanted to start by apologizing to anyone that is hearing the news for the first time. In an effort to honor Trish’s wishes and allow her the time she needs to process and notify her loved ones, we have kept this information concealed until now. Because of how advanced and aggressive this form of cancer is Trish has decided to forgo any radiation or chemotherapy and instead go into Hospice care. She wants nothing more than to spend the remainder of her days in a comfortable place where she can visit with her family. As of May 1st Trish can no longer speak without great strain and for this and other reasons we ask that you please not try and contact her via phone but rather by email. We will do our best to keep you updated here as well. Martha Jean Wescott; Patricia’s mother, founded the Kitsap Sexual Assault Center in 1975. Trish, like her Mother is a very giving woman, always having multiple care packages ready in her car to give out to those in need. She is caring to a fault and would never ask for help even in the most dire of circumstances. However as many of you can imagine or perhaps know from experience, it is extremely emotionally draining not to mention a financial strain when things like this happen unexpectedly. We are asking for donations to help Trish and her children cover expenses like medical bills, rent, lost wages and transportation costs as she is currently undergoing care in Tacoma. Thank you in advance for your kind thoughts and prayers during this difficult time. Sincerely The Jones and Noyola family
