We are heartbroken to share that one of our AZ SKY 18 Blue players, Sammy Estervig, and her father, Lance, were involved in a serious car accident while traveling home from Las Vegas.

We are devastated to share that Lance passed away in the accident. Sammy underwent surgery and is currently in stable condition.

There are no words that can make sense of a situation like this. This is a gut wrenching loss for Sammy, her mother Melissa, her sister Taylor, her brother Jack, their family, teammates, and everyone who knows them.

Right now, we want to come together and support the Estervig family in a meaningful way.
