Many of you have likely heard about the terrible accident on Randall Road on March 25th. With unimaginable heartbreak, we share that Maggie Espinosa (maiden name Lesk) was taken from us far too soon. She was a loving wife, devoted mother, and a truly beautiful soul who touched so many lives with her kindness, strength, and warmth. She was also a beloved teacher who taught so many of our children here in Batavia.

She leaves behind her husband, Jose Espinosa, and their five children, 10, 8, 4, and 2-year-old twins, who will now grow up without their mother’s love and presence. As they face this devastating loss, they are also navigating the sudden financial and emotional weight that comes with it.
