A lifetime of hospital stays, surgeries and recoveries have brought Micah to this point of waiting in-hospital for both a heart and liver transplant. In spite of many years wondering "when" the life-saving surgery would happen, Micah remains an upbeat and encouraging guy who frequently sends messages of encouragement to those on his contact list.

With the burden of supporting the long-distance relationship with his wife and maintaining two households (California/father/Jan and Oregon farm/wife/Dawna), we are raising funds to ease the strain for Micah and those closest to him. This funding will enable Dawna to visit Micah occasionally and keep his spirits up, and also provide for Jan as he is temporarily in California to be a daily support for Micah.
