Support for the Embry Family in their Recovery

Dearest family and friends of the Embry family,

On June 7th, while driving down a hill in a torrential rain, Kim's car began to hydroplane and despite her best efforts to bring the vehicle under control, it swerved, flew headlong, and crashed into a ditch full of large rocky terrain.

Blessedly, seatbelts and airbags did their job and Kim, her daughter Jenny-Rebecca, and grandson Seth made it through the crash. Jenny and Seth made it out with just a small scratch, but Kim however has extreme injuries including a broken right ankle, shin, and fractures of the L1, L2, L3 and T12 vertebral bodies in her lower back and their only car was totaled.

Kim is in a tremendous amount of pain and must undergo physical therapy in a residential rehabilitation center (45 minutes from home) which will eventually be followed by a long period of recovery at home.

While Kim is in recovery, Jenny will need to figure out supplemental childcare for her 4 year old son for the days that she goes in to work, as well as transportation to get to and from her multiple jobs, running necessary errands, and visiting and caring for Kim.

Please send your healing thoughts and prayers to Kim that she will come out on top, fully healed, walking in her victory, and pray for peace, comfort, and strength to her, her family and share this fundraiser within your communities.

Donations will go towards a safe, reliable replacement vehicle for Kim and Jenny, interim childcare support for Seth, and other various costs associated with Kim's care and the recovery process. Thank you so much for your support.
