This is something I was hoping I’d never have to do for my family. In November 2025, I was hospitalized for a viral infection. While we were already behind on our normal bills, we were struck again on February 1st, 2026, when my amazing wife was hospitalized with an emergency appendectomy. Now, as we wait and try to get her healed and back on her feet, we have fallen further behind on our everyday expenses—gas and electricity, food, rent, car payments, and car repairs. The time frame for any new income is a long waiting game while work and insurance try to eventually catch up with each other and provide a fraction of what she was making. We fall further behind and honestly don’t know what to do.
Any funds raised will go directly to covering overdue utilities, rent, overdue car payments and repairs, groceries for us and our children, and a handful of medical bills. We are doing everything we can to get ourselves back to a stable spot while my wife heals and we continue forward, but the financial burden keeps growing.
We know these are very hard times for many people. Thank you for thinking of us. Anything you can give will help make this burden smaller and help us get through this difficult time. The love and 'thank you's' could never be big enough to anyone thinking of us. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts. The Elmer family.
