Jason, Amber and their 3 girls Jaylynn (10), Ashlinn (7) and Kymberlynn (4) live in beautiful Whitehall. Jason is a mechanic at his family shop and everyone that knows them knows what kind and giving people they are.
On September 4th Jason was diagnosed with PCP, an autoimmune disease. After undergoing 5 ERCP’s, and 5 stent’s placed in his bike dict’s they got a positive test back for cancer. The family has suffered through not only Jason not being able to work but multiple trips to Bozeman & Salt Lake for his care, each trip costing them money for travel and Hotel.
Their most recent stay was
over 15 days. He was down there to have a Whipple Procedure to remove the tumor from his bile duct. After 2 hours in surgery they got the news that the tumor is not able to be removed because it’s on a main vein from the liver to the bile duct. 2 days after that surgery he had another ERCP to place a stent so the bile would drain from the liver and then just a few days after that he had another surgery to block the nerves so he doesn’t have to feel the pain from the tumor as much.
He is now back home but will be starting Chemo In the next 5 weeks because they cannot do the surgery.
A fundraiser will be held in Whitehall in the next few months for them but we hope that this GoFund me will help them until that happens.
Thank you to to the people that have already helped whether it be through the jars in town, the wreath auction, babysitting and various other things. Let’s continue to support them so they can focus on Jason’s recovery and not have to worry about finances through such a difficult time.
