Support for the Edmonds

Thomas and Lanell need your help if possible. Lanell has been experiencing serious health problems for over a year now and unfortunately is not improving.
Over the past year, Lanell has been seeking treatment for severe stomach pain, which has involved two surgeries and ongoing appointments with a series of specialists. Lanell is suffering from gastro peresis (which means your stomach doesnt digest food regularly). She is unable to digest most food and is in a constant state of nausea. So far, she has lost 20 lbs and is barely able to function each day.
As you can imagine, this state of constant pain and exhaustion has taken a toll on Lanell emotionally. The most pressing issue for Lanell is to receive support for managing her mental health and getting relief from her migraines and insomnia.
Today Lanell starts an inpatient hospital stay, which will last about three weeks. Their psychologist, Thomas, and Lanell believe this is necessary right now. The goal is to be balanced and functioning after this stay, and then begin to see a naturopath for digestive care.
In the near future, Thomas is going to need to have surgery for a large hernia he has in his stomach. He has been unable to have it operated on due to being unable to take time off of work for the surgery. Thomas' hernia leaves him in pain daily and is quite advanced.
As friends of Thomas and Lanell, we wanted to get the word out and ask for prayer and financial assistance for the Edmonds during this season. All contributions will go directly towards Lanell and Thomas’s medical care and support them so they can focus on the healing their family so desperately needs. In addition to healing, please be praying for Thomas and Lanell’s three daughters to be covered in grace, and that having mommy gone for nearly a month will work smoothly. A meal train has been set up and is another tangible way to support the Edmonds during this time.
