Support for the Dyck Family

Hi Everyone,

Matt was airlifted to the University of Alberta Hospital on Wednesday, December 11, and was admitted following numbness and loss of feeling in his legs. He is still undergoing diagnostic testing and currently does not have a diagnosis or prognosis.

Matt will be unable to work for the foreseeable future, which will, unfortunately, have a significant financial impact on their family. Matt is the sole provider for the family, working outside of the household, while Emily has been caring for their three young children, Lakelyn (5), Londyn (3), and Luca (2).

Matt is expected to be hospitalized for quite some time as the medical team continue investigations to arrive at a diagnosis, treatment, and prognosis.

Please consider donating to the Dyck family in their time of need to assist with the costs associated with travel to Edmonton (their family home and supports are in Fort McMurray), accommodations to stay in Edmonton with Matt during his hospitalization, etc.

We are fundraising as Emily's lifelong friends. We all know that Emily and Matt are kind, hardworking, and supportive. Now it is our time to help them during such a difficult time.
