Support for the Douglass Family

My name is Mari and I am the granddaughter of Debbie and Sherrill Douglass, my Gran and Gramps.  Sherrill is my grandfather and the sole provider for their family.  He has been the caretaker for my grandmother for over ten years due to her crippling illnesses that include ulcerative colitis, lupus, fibromyalgia, lung disease, arthritis, vertigo, and other autoimmune disorders and lung cancer that leave her weak and fatigued.  She has been disabled since 2004, unable to work a job.  He is a maintenance worker at a skilled nursing facility while also finding the time to do handyman jobs on the side to make some extra money.  He also helps people in his community with their projects and needs.  On July 26th he suffered terrible chest pains that led him to the emergency room where he found out that he was having a heart attack.  He had an angioplasty shortly after where they were only able to clear 2 of the 4 blockages in his coronary arteries.  He was moved to another hospital in preparation for quadruple bypass surgery on the 3rd of August where he will recover after, in the ICU.  The burden of hospital bills and the lack of income during his recovery will be devastating.  This money will go towards supporting them and helping them back on their feet in this difficult time.  We appreciate any donations, thank you!
