The Dolan family experienced a tragic event on Saturday, June 19; the home that they love and where they feel safe caught fire. The fire started in the kitchen, which is completely destroyed, and many other areas of the house have irreparable damage. We are so very thankful and blessed that everyone was able to get out safely, as the fire department said that if the fire had 5 more minutes, the entire building would have been engulfed.
Matt, Alisha, Ava, Michael, and Bailey are currently displaced (currently staying in a hotel), and working on a more semi-permanent place for their family while the damage is being assessed and addressed. In the meantime, Matt and Alisha have had to replace a significant amount of household items, toys, medications, clothes, etc. that were damaged and/or ruined due to fire or smoke damage. While the insurance company may cover some of these items, our family is concerned that they will not replace all of them. Matt and Alisha will also need to front a lot of money for a hotel or Air BnB that they will call home while they are separated from the home they love so much.
Many have asked how they can help, and since Matt and Alisha are absolutely NOT people to ask for help ever, Patrick and I wanted to start this page. The trauma of Saturday's events hasn't really set in yet as they have been so busy trying to get things settled, so we wanted to do something to help right away. If there is anything at all you can give, we know they would be so very grateful. Thank you all so much!!
