The loss of my sister’s husband, Donald Dixon, was very unexpected. On March 26th, the world lost one of the most special, strongest, and bravest men. Donald endured months of pain and sickness while he battled through cancer and fought through chemotherapy. In June 2025, Donald was diagnosed with colorectal cancer that spread throughout his entire body and quickly took him from this world far too soon. Donald had a very quick decline in his health that was very unexpected and he abruptly left the world within a two week span. Donald was unable to communicate properly during these last two weeks which left the Dixon family with some financial difficulties. After many inquiries, I wanted to create this GoFundMe to help my family.

Donald was a proud Navy Veteran who dedicated his life to serving others. After his military service, he continued to care for fellow Veterans at our local VA Hospital, always putting others before himself. His compassion, strength, and commitment to helping those in need touched countless lives and left a lasting legacy in our community.

To help ease my sister’s financial situation, I am asking for your support. Donations will go toward paying for medical bills, end of life services, the continuation of God’s show feeding the homeless, and basic necessities while the family lands back on their feet during their grieving process.
