Hello friends,

As many of you know, Jen is facing another battle with cancer. During Jen's regular screening, a small lesion was found in her left breast that is positive for breast cancer. It is a stage 1 "invasive ductal cancer" which is the most common form of breast cancer. The size and hormone testing all point to it being very treatable - however given Jen's health history of multiple types of cancer and Li–Fraumeni syndrome, the steps going forward remain uncertain.

Battling cancer comes with a lot of emotional and financial stress. Driving back and forth to Juravinski hospital in Hamilton, parking costs, loss of income from time off work, and post mastectomy medical supplies will put a large financial strain on the Desilests. Lets come together to support them as they once again walk this uncertain road.
