Support for the De Matos Family After Tragic Hit-and-Run
Donation protected
It is with profound sorrow and heartbreak that we share the tragic and sudden loss of Jason De Matos who was a devoted husband, a loving father, and a kind soul taken from us far too soon.
Jason passed away on May 17, 2025 after sustaining serious injuries during a pedestrian/automobile hit and run at the young age of 45. While walking, he was struck by a driver who fled the scene. He succumbed to the grave injuries. The individual responsible is still at large, leaving Jason’s family not only in deep mourning but also seeking answers.
Jason was the very definition of a family man. He was married to the love of his life, Olga, for 15 wonderful years. They shared two beautiful children together, Briana (10) and Dominic (4). Every moment Jason spent with his family was filled with laughter, love, and an unwavering dedication to their happiness and security. He worked tirelessly to provide a life full of adventure, stability, and love for those he cherished most.
His sudden passing has caused an unimaginable void in the lives of his family and loved ones. I ask for your help in supporting Olga and her two young children as they navigate through this unspeakable new reality.
Donations will help ease some of the financial burden, giving Olga the time to grieve and support her young children during this difficult time. Your contributions will also help create a foundation for a brighter future for Briana and Dominic.
I also ask that you share this page widely. Every donation, every share, and every message of support matters. Together, we can rally around this heartbroken family, help them through this painful journey, and honor Jason’s memory with the love and kindness he showed every day.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
