Support for the Crutchers

As some of you may know, my step-dad John has been going through a lot of health issues the past few years. He is diabetic and has had a ton of medical issues due to this.

This past Sunday, he went to the hospital by ambulance for what they thought was food poisoning. After doing tests and scans, the results came back showing he had a serious infection in his blood stemming from his foot. He has had an open wound on his right foot for the past 2 years that just hasn’t healed and has caused many infections and hospital stays. The doctor has decided that the best option is to amputate his foot in phase 1 and his leg up to the knee in phase 2. Today, September 14th, he went through phase 1 and sometime this week they will do phase 2. My parents are in no way prepared for this situation and for him to be off of work for an unknown amount of time.

We are asking for donations to help cover the cost of household bills since they are down to one income, any unpaid medical bills as needed and eventually a prosthesis John is one of the most selfless people I know and helps anyone in any way he can. Anything donated will go straight to them. If you can’t afford to donate anything I ask that you send some prayers for quick and safe healing.
