In support of Cody Cromwell and Family
NOTICE: we would like to approach this matter before things spiral, there have been some allegations that Cody's Go Fund Me is fake and is being used improperly, but we can ensure that all the money is going immediately to Cody because he has a long recovery a head, and we don't want him having unnecessary stress, hence the point of the go-fund me. These allegations arose because in the original post, Cody's mom was said to have been in Ottawa with him, which she was, but she arrived back home today in the very early morning, the creator of the go fund me was a family friend, who was unaware that Cody's mom was home, but when the creator was corrected the go-fund me was instantly changed so Cody's mom was no longer in it. Sorry for all the confusion, but Cody does need some support so if you can donate, that would greatly appreciated, if not, please share!
On Monday, July 26th Cody Cromwell of Whitney Pier was the victim of a horrific crime in Ottawa, Ontario. Cody (age 22) was stabbed just centimeters from his heart. Following a major surgery, Cody remains in critical condition.
This go-fund me was created to help Cody and his family as they navigate the road to recovery with their boy, helping him cope with not only physical trauma, but also emotional following the passing of his roommate and dear friend. So we are kindly asking for you to help out as much as you can. This family has been dealt a series of heartbreaks, saying goodbye to Cody’s 5 year old nephew in 2018 and just last month, his Grandmother.
Cody ventured to the city to provide a better life for not only himself, but especially his 9 month old daughter. Cody obtained a job where he assisted in building an Amazon distribution center.
The love and support from not only friends and family, but also the members of the community has been especially comforting. There are no words to explain how grateful the family is. During this difficult time, we are hoping to ease any stress for Cody and his family. Again, your thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated.
