Support for the Courchain Family

As many of you know, Melissa (McGuigan) Courchain, 43, passed away on Sunday, Dec 3 from complications as she awaited her second double lung transplant. The opportunity to spend more “good years” with her family, friends, husband Bob, and 7 year-old son and best buddy, Austin, gave her the strength to fight through the toughest of times during her lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. Despite her challenges, Melissa was a spirited firecracker and positive, loving person who danced, wiggled and laughed her way through life with every opportunity she had.

Melissa carried the family’s health insurance and with the loss of insurance and her salary, Bob’s temporary lack of income, medical expenses, and the cost of the beautiful services that Melissa deserves, we would like to give everyone the opportunity to support the Courchain family during this difficult time.

All donations will go directly to Bob and in the event that donations exceed his immediate needs, Bob plans to use remaining funds to put towards Austin’s college savings.
