Kevin Cotta was more than just a coworker or friend—he was a pillar of the NJ Gravel community for over 20 years. Through his work, he built lasting relationships with coworkers, customers, vendors, and so many others, creating an extended family that reached far beyond the workplace. Two years ago, Kevin was diagnosed with multiple myeloma, but even as he faced this difficult battle, he never lost his positive, energetic spirit. He continued to spend time with his wife Lisa, their three children, their new puppy, his boy scout troop, and his NJ Gravel family, always making time for anyone who needed him. Kevin’s determination and kindness inspired everyone around him, and he never let anything stand in the way of what he wanted to do.

A few months ago, Kevin began the hardest length of treatments in the hospital, and despite his strength and courage, he was not able to make it through. Kevin passed away on Tuesday night, April 28th, 2026, leaving a massive hole in our community. We want to do everything we can to support his family during this incredibly difficult time. All donations will go directly to the Cotta family to help with hospital bills and provide support as they navigate the days ahead.
