Zak Clar was a hardworking, loving husband and father, he worked up in the clouds on massive wind turbines, he was a talented musician, loved camping, climbing, and hiking with his family, and was genuinely loved by the people around him.
November 30th he was in a terrible accident on the way to work and suffered a broken neck, and many other injuries.
On the 10th of December, he succumbed to his injuries and passed away.
The emotional toll this is taking on his wife Christina, and his daughters Lucy (8), and twins Melanie and Calliope (6) cannot be measured.
But as Zak was the main breadwinner of the family, the permanent loss of his income has put a terrible financial burden on the family. Added to that are the significant medical bills they are facing thanks to the very complex nature of his hospital treatment.
This Go-Fund me campaign has been set up by a family friend who could not sit back and watch this happen to them.
It’s hoped to raise funds to allow the family to cover the medical expenses, and replace Zak’s income while Christina figures out how they will survive without him.

We cannot bring Zak back for his family, but we can help them to not suffer more than they need to.
