Support for the Byrd family in loving memory of Tim

Friends, family, and kind souls:
My brother-in-law Tim Byrd was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia (ALL). He will be getting treatment at Fred Hutch in Seattle while Maggie, Briggs, Nash, and Logan are in Spokane, and Chloe is in school at NAU in Flagstaff.
If you know Tim and Maggie:
1. You know they are AMAZING at always stepping up to help others in times of need.
2. You know they aren’t great at asking for help for themselves.
So... I’m doing it for them.
During this time Tim will be unable to work and be with his immediate family in Spokane. The cost of cancer treatment and required temporary housing within the vicinity of the hospital is huge and not something that anyone budgets for. We want to make sure that money is the very last thing on their minds during this time, and that Maggie has support at home in Spokane. The funds will support:
- Medical bills and temporary housing while Tim fights in Seattle
- Meals, door dash gift cards, housecleaning & yard work in Spokane
- The ability for the whole family to travel back and forth from Spokane and Flagstaff to Seattle by air to be with Tim in between rounds of chemo.
This is going to be a difficult time, but I feel confident that this stupid leukemia is no match for the strength of Tim, the Byrds, and all our love and support for them.
Let’s show that cancer who’s boss, and the Byrds how much we love them.
