UPDATE: Thank you! We have raised funds for the Michael and Jennylyn to bury their son with love and respect. You are amazing and we are so overwhelmed and humbled by your generous support. The Bunnell family has shared their next steps as they begin a foundation to share Charlie's story and help prevent other families from facing this same tragedy.
Helping the Bunnell Family Say Goodbye to Their Sweet Charlie
Goal: $10,000
Charlie Bunnell was the kind of kid who made you smile without even trying. He was 10 years old, full of energy and laughter, and he loved life in the most genuine way. Charlie had autism and was nonverbal, but he always communicated his love and joy to all of those around him. His laugh was contagious and made everyone smile. He loved coloring, Disney movies, playing with his friends at school and church, and eating pizza rolls :).
His family always made sure he knew he was loved and encouraged him to be his funny, sweet and completely, beautiful self by showing up for each other every single day.
On April 19th, 2026, Charlie was in a tragic accident where he was struck by a car and later passed away. He is being held in the arms of Jesus and we know we will see him in Heaven again one day.
Now this family — needs us to show up for them. We are raising $10,000 to help cover Charlie's funeral and burial expenses. Every dollar raised means one less burden on a family that is already carrying the heaviest grief imaginable. Let's make sure his family feels that love right now when they need it most.
Visitation: Sunday 2-6pm at Kutis 10151 Gravois
Service: Monday 12:30pm at Kutis 10151 Gravios
We ask if you have a Disney shirt please wear that. Otherwise keep it casual... Charlie would have hated formal clothes.
I am organizing this fundraiser on behalf of the Bunnell family because of our close personal relationship with them. The funds raised will be transferred directly to the family through secure bank transfers, or used on their behalf for immediate expenses including housing, transportation, meals, medical costs, and other urgent family needs. Any funds received will go directly toward supporting the Bunnell family during this difficult time.
