Michael D. Brubaker, 44 years, of Bernville, Berks County, died Wednesday, November 19, 2025. He was the husband of Louise W. (Brubaker) Brubaker. He was the father of Christina J., Nicole L., Alyssa G., and Jared M., all living at home. Son of Eugene and Grace (Martin) Brubaker. He was a member of Walnuttown Mennonite Church (Weaverland Conference). He was employed by Molasses Hill Transport since 2013. Surviving in addition are a sister, Esther (David) Sensenig, and brothers, Kevin (Lisa) Brubaker, Jerry (Kim) Brubaker, Joseph (Karen) Brubaker, and father-in-law, Ivan Brubaker. Michael was preceded in death by 2 brothers, Milford (1990) and Steven (2023), and his mother-in-law, Mary Brubaker.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 26, at 9:30 AM at Walnuttown Mennonite Church, 1219 Pleasant Hill Rd., Fleetwood, PA. Viewing on Tuesday, November 25, from 1-4 PM and 6-8PM at Fairview Mennonite Reception Center, 141 Jackson Rd., Lebanon, PA. Please omit flowers. Mike and his wife, Louise, served as missionaries with ORI from 2010–2013, and he has faithfully continued to serve on our Board of Directors from 2013 to the present.

Mike had a love for Guatemala. He brought a “go with the flow” attitude, a bright smile, and a way of making even hard work enjoyable. He lived and served in Guatemala, led dozens of work teams, and supported our ministry through many fundraisers. Everyone who met Mike loved him.

While we grieve his unexpected passing, we rejoice knowing he is now experiencing his heavenly reward.
