Dear Friends of the Amazing Brigden Family - As most of you know, the Brigden's home suffered a terrible fire this past Sunday afternoon (8/10/25) that has left it uninhabitable and all of their belongings nonrecoverable. Thankfully, Ian, Trishell, Reese, Luke and Macie are healthy and safe as they were NOT home at the time of the fire. Devastatingly though, their beloved sweet dog Lily Bear did not survive the fire. As most of us can only imagine, the loss of one's home is absolutely devastating and the loss of a beloved pet is beyond heart-breaking.

As we all know, the Brigdens are simply amazing ... they are resilient, God-fearing, God-honoring and as we can all agree, they are some of the sweetest people on the entire planet. It is no surprise that every person that knows and adores them is trying to figure out "what can I do to help??" or "what can I purchase for them to make sure they have comfort items?" or "what can we gather up for them from our own homes to ease the burden?" or "HOW CAN WE LOVE ON THEM LIKE WE SO DESIRE??"

Many of their friends have quickly suggested a GoFundMe as a centralized way to manage all of the generosity that has immediately been offered (and will subsequently continue to pour in). Getting to where we hit "SEND" on this GoFundMe, though, took some strong arming :-)! As with any set of parents who work hard to make sound financial decisions, provide for their family's needs without excess, and live within the blessings bestowed upon them by the Lord, accepting financial help is not easy nor is it a desirable position.

THANK YOU, Ian and Trishell, for allowing your beloved community to do this for your family! This provides the opportunity to organize support for you in a way that is streamlined and collectively purposeful! Your needs will no doubt develop over time and it brings all of us joy to think we are contributing to lighten your burden in any way possible!!

To the Brigden community: thank you for all of your love and support! The Brigdens have felt the total outpouring of love and have described it as "experiencing the hands and feet of Jesus" loving on them through this trying time. No greater blessing!
