On Tuesday, March 17, 2026, my brother-in-law Micah was involved in a serious car accident after hitting a patch of ice caused by recent rain and freezing weather. He is now facing a long road to recovery with a broken hip and femur on his left side, a broken shoulder on his right, fractured ribs and spine, and a bruised lung. The accident has left him hospitalized and unable to work for the foreseeable future, which is a huge challenge for our family.

Micah is a hardworking father of three, and his wife—my sister—works full time to support their family. However, the sudden loss of Micah’s income, combined with the mounting medical bills and recovery expenses, is putting an enormous strain on them.
