On Friday, October 29, 2021, Alex Bonilla passed away from a fatal car accident. Alex was driving on the 91EB to the transition 15NB in Corona with his fiancé Pearl, his stepdaughter Angel, and Angel's boyfriend, Alex Garcia, when he was cut off by another vehicle. As he swerved to avoid the collision, Alex lost control of his vehicle causing them to veer off the embankment, rolling several times, and ejecting three of the occupants. Sadly, Alex Bonilla passed away at the scene. Pearl is in the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Angel is in stable condition in the ICU and will need many surgeries for her injuries. Alex Garcia is in critical condition in the ICU.

Alex Bonilla leaves behind his fiancé Pearl, their twin daughters-Jayleen and Jazmine (5), step daughter-Angel (18), step son- Christian (9), and his daughter Faith (21).
