On June 29th, 2026, our family's world changed forever when the Beulah home of my parents, Bobbie and Casey Blood, was completely destroyed in the Aspen Acres Fire.
This was not just a house to our family. It was a home that my parents built completely with their own two hands, pouring years of hard work, dedication, and love into every part of it. From the foundation to the finishing touches, they created a place that became the heart of our family. This home was where we gathered for Christmas every year, celebrated birthdays and milestones, and where my sister was married, surrounded by family and friends. It was a place where everyone was welcome, from loved ones to neighbors, and anyone who needed a place to lay their head.
My parents have always been some of the hardest-working people I know. Everything they have built in life has come through years of sacrifice, determination, and an unwavering commitment to their family. The home they built was a reflection of their hard work.
We are incredibly grateful that my parents, along with their cats and dogs, are safe, but they are now facing the overwhelming challenge of starting over. As they work through the insurance process and begin the long journey of rebuilding, we are raising funds to help with immediate needs, temporary housing, essential items, clothing, and the many unexpected expenses that come with recovering from a devastating loss.
Thank you for your generosity, support, and prayers. We are deeply grateful for the community that surrounds my parents. In the last day alone, we have been shown the overwhelming kindness of our community. Our hearts and prayers are also with everyone who has been affected by the fires across Colorado. We are thankful for the firefighters, first responders, and community members who continue to work tirelessly to protect others during this difficult time.
