Support for the Blank Family

Hello family and friends! **This is a surprise.

By now, all of you know some of the hardships my family has been facing, as most all of you have come together so graciously to support us through it all. I still cannot thank everyone enough for what you have individually done, God is always faithful to provide.

I work for an organization that promotes a model of support which aims to reflect the church and how relationships can provide resilience and healing for those facing hard times. This is why I look to you for yet one more thing. My sister Ashley has been diagnosed with OCD germophobia, which can be extremely debilitating for her, all while she is trying to be present as the most wonderful mother. It gets hard! And she is exhausted. However, I am so proud of her because had the courage to reach out to this wonderful outpatient facility who will provide her the support she needs. She will be attending a 30 day outpatient program (which means she will not have to stay overnight at the facility), but it is out of state. Therefore, she will have to stay in a hotel room for 30 days and pay that bill, pay for meals, etc. We will all take turns staying with her so she isn't alone (while Jared stays with Bennett and continues to work), but my mother will be the one who stays the most. This is why I am here, to raise support for the finances they are about to encounter, and to bring awareness so you all can be texting Ash, my mother, Jared, etc as they walk through this. I just really worry about them as they are going through this, (all while trying to grieve) so I now approach my circle of support and theirs to see if we can take some worry off their plate. All I am asking is you sacrifice your coffee run for the day and donate that $5 instead to them. If you planned on getting lunch out today, I ask you reconsider, pack a lunch, and share that $10 with them. Anything you feel led to do. This is a choice between you, your spouse, and God. Thank you all very much! I also ask you keep this between yourself and me (temporarily), until I can bless them with your generosity as a surprise when the time comes. Love you guys-Alicia & Hayden.
