My name is Heather Lovrien and I’m creating this GoFundMe on behalf of my brother Patrick Biron, his wife Ellie Biron, and their family, as they walk through the unimaginable loss of their precious daughter, Addie. Patrick and Addie, who was just 13 years old, were out of state to help with my sister's surgery after breast cancer. On Christmas Eve morning, Addie began to feel unwell, collapsed, and despite extensive medical efforts, she never woke back up. Patrick and Ellie are absolutely amazing parents and are now grieving a loss that no parent should ever have to experience. Addie was one of the absolute best parts of their lives, and there are no words big enough for this kind of grief.

One of the hardest parts during a loss like this is having to make decisions and arrangements while also worrying about the financial burden that comes with laying your child to rest. It’s the last thing any parent should have to think about in moments like these. This fundraiser is meant to lift that weight from Ellie and Patrick and allow them to focus on grieving, remembering, honoring, and cherishing Addie without the added stress of expenses.
