Support for the Beringuel’s boys

Donation protected
It is with a bruised soul and broken heart I now share with you that Brooke left this life on 11.08.23. Her family’s fear of losing her has become their new reality.

Her family graciously and gratefully acknowledges the continued support from everyone reaching out with condolences and sympathy.

Brooke was truly one of a kind and had touched so many with her unique talents and abilities. She was never afraid to go against the grain to stand for what she believed in and would always advocate for the underdog.

We have lost a remarkable woman. I love you, Brooke. I hope you were greeted with glitter cannons and dancing drag queens, sister.

As many of you know, young and vivacious at just 39 years old, Brooke Beringuel has been diagnosed with Stage IV metastatic cancer.

Brooke is a nurse who has gone above and beyond to help her patients navigate their cancer diagnoses and treatments, but now needs us to go above and beyond for her.

If you know Brooke at all, you know Brooke lives for her two boys, Miles and Zane. There is absolutely NOTHING Brooke would not do for her boys. After being diagnosed, while processing this new information, the one thing Brooke expressed more than anything else was how concerned she is about her boys and the impact this will have on them.

She is a fighter, and is gearing up to go to war with cancer, but many challenges lie ahead for her and her family. Because Brooke will need to be away from work for an extended period of time in order to fight this, the family will be taking a huge financial hit. This is creating even more worry on top the already difficult situation she is managing.

Brooke has so freely devoted much of her time and energy to fundraising for and supporting the youth hockey teams, as well as the kids involved. She has devoted her career to helping others cope with illness and pain. She has a big heart and a sensitive soul. She is generous and thoughtful. She is strong and courageous and fiercely independent. She is remarkable.

Thank you so much for supporting this young woman and her beautiful family.
