Michael Bassett passed away on August 25, 2025, after a courageous battle with an illness. He was born on March 25, 1980.

Mike is survived by his wife, Stacy Bassett, and his two daughters, Julia and Taylor Bassett. He will be remembered with love by his family, friends, and colleagues. Mike was a beloved member of our swim community—always present, always encouraging, and deeply proud of Taylor, Julia, and Stacy. His loss is profound, and our hearts go out to the entire Bassett family.
