Hi everyone,
For anyone who knows us personally, you know that Colton is a diagnosed epileptic.
Colton had a life altering grand mal seizure on the evening of March 10, 2026. This most recent seizure would be the third one in the last four to five months. This seizure led to severe health complications, including intubation, ventilation, a collapsed lung, two different types of pneumonia, among other things. We had almost lost him several times. Given Colton's role as a driver at his current employment and his need to refrain from driving for a minimum of six months, our financial situation will become increasingly strained. Fortunately, I am to start a new position soon, but the upcoming bills will pose a significant challenge. As of March 11, 2026, by the grace of God and the work of his ICU doctors, Colton is now showing signs of improvement. His lung is beginning to inflate and he has gained the ability to breathe without a ventilator. The support from our loved ones has been extremely overwhelming and a major blessing. I believe in the power of prayer, and I know that God heard mine as well as our loved ones pleas to heal him.
To help manage the financial implications of Colton's recovery and our living expenses, any form of assistance would be greatly appreciated. Your support, whether it be through donation, sharing our situation, or a prayer being said, would significantly impact my ability to care for Colton as well as our daughter during this time.
This situation has changed our entire lives in the blink of an eye. I do not know what I would do without the support of our family, friends, and my loving God during this time.
Any donation amount, share, or prayer would help tremendously. For those who would like to donate directly, please send me a message and I can provide Cash App/Venmo.
We are grateful for the out pour of love, kindness, community, and prayers as we navigate this uncertain period.
****Update: Colton is home! He has a long road of recovery. He will be on several new medications and have many doctor’s appointments with multiple specialists ahead, but I’m so grateful he is home. I appreciate the love and support that has came from our community in such a traumatic and difficult time. Thank you to everyone who continue to pray, outreach, donate, and share our situation. I thank God for working a miracle on my husband and bringing him home to me. I have strong faith that even though I’m scared to death for what the future holds, that God has his hands on us and will be with us no matter the circumstance! ❤️
Please continue to pray, donate if able, and share if possible.
