Support for the Aughenbaugh Family

Our community is coming together with heavy hearts to support the family of someone truly special. Jamie Lynn Aughenbaugh was a bright and beautiful light—a young woman whose kindness, warmth, and genuine compassion touched everyone fortunate enough to know her. Through her work at the Jefferson House and The Beacon, Jamie gave so much of herself to others, always leading with empathy, generosity, and an uplifting spirit. Having recently graduated from UConn, she was just beginning to build a life filled with dreams, purpose, and endless potential.

Tragically, Jamie passed away following a horrific car accident, leaving behind a grief that words can barely capture. Her sudden loss has deeply shaken her family, friends, and the entire community as we struggle to comprehend a world without her light.

During this unimaginable time, we are asking the community to come together for the Aughenbaugh family—just as Jamie so selflessly showed up for others throughout her life. Donations will help ease the financial burden of funeral expenses, medical expenses and related costs, allowing her loved ones the space to grieve and honor the beautiful life she lived.
