Support for the Arroyo Family

On February 21, 2021 we lost an angel on earth. Carmela Arroyo, my best friend's mother, sadly passed away from Covid19. Since then, all of us who love her have been at a complete loss for words, unable to comprehend what has transpired and clinging to one another for support. The impact she had on those around her is immesurable. Her warmth, her love for others, her wit, her selflessness, and her incomparable sense of humor could brighten up any room. She was truly a person who made this world a better place.
Her children and grandchildren have been left with the enormous void of a mother and grandmother who supported them and loved them deeply and unconditionally. The Arroyo family also lost their father in 2015 and mom was their pillar of strength after that heartbreaking loss. Words cannot properly describe how her absence has affected this loving family.
As friends and loved ones of the Arroyo family, we cannot even begin to consider filling her shoes, but we are beyond committed to honoring her memory and caring for her family. Her children, grandchildren and extended family need our help. Many of us were blessed to spend time with Carmela as a family and understand the role that she played as a mother, grandmother and support system.
We are raising money to balance any financial responsibilities that befall the family as a result of the funeral and beyond. We would like to help give the Arroyo family the space needed to mourn this immense loss, without allowing finances to become a relevant burden. We cannot bring our dear Carmela back to this world but we can help care for the parts of it she loved most, her family. All donations will go directly to them. We pray we can help bring a glimmer of healing to their hearts till the day we all meet with her again in heaven.
